Hardesty Funeral Home) -- Captain Paul Wayne Adolph, Jr..
passed away peacefully in his home on Wednesday February 23,
2022 Surrounded by his family. He is preceded in death by
his parents, Navy Veteran Paul Wayne Adolph Sr. And Cecilia Jane
Adolph of Adelphi, MD. Along with his Siblings Paula J. Morrison
& Charles C. Adolph.
Wayne was a proud U.S Army Vietnam
veteran, Master plumber and Charter boat Captain of the Sandra
Lee, and avid member of the Deale Captains Association.
He and his family moved to Shady Side, MD in 1987 where he and
his beloved wife Sandra lee Adolph of 43 years, raised their
family. He’s the proud father of his two girls, Katherine Cruze
and Husband Julio (of Shady side) and Janell Conner (of Tracys
Landing) proud grandfather to Shelby,Jordan,Hope, and Charlie,
Great grandfather to Kiley and Karson. Adopted grandfather to
Hm3 Paulo Torres. He very much loved his extra sons, Jerry
Fowler & CJ Conner.
Captain Wayne had a deep love of
fishing on the Chesapeake Bay and was often found telling fish
stories in many of the Deale boat yards. He was known to shut
down more than a few crab houses, fix whatever was broken, give
a helping hand when needed and no matter where he went, he
always managed to find someone he knew or turn any stranger a
friend.
Relatives and friends may call at the Hardesty Funeral Home,
P.A. 905 Galesville Road Galesville, MD 20765 on Sunday from 2-4
& 7-9 PM. Funeral service will be held Monday February 28, 2022
at the Deale Baptist Church 5907 Deale Churchton Rd, Deale, MD
20751 at 11:00 AM. Interment will be at the Maryland Veteran’s
Cemetery, Cheltenham, MD at a later date.

Visitation will
be held Sunday, February 27, 2022 from 2:00PM - 4:00PM at the
Hardesty Funeral Home - Galesville (905 Galesville Rd.
Galesville, MD 20765) and Sunday, February 27, 2022 from 7:00PM
- 9:00PM at the same location.
Service
will be held Monday, February 28, 2022 at 11:00AM at the Deale
Baptist Church (5907 Deale Churchton Rd., Deale, MD 20751).
Final Resting Place at a later date will be
at Cheltenham Veterans Cemetery (11301 Crain Highway,
Cheltenham, MD 20623).
